Today staying connected is very important. So, before you leave home for your dream vacation set up a web-based e-mail account (such as Hotmail, Yahoo, or AOL) and it will make it easy to e-mail friends and family while you're abroad.
Have a great time and do not worry about anything back home...your friends and family will have your new travelers e-mail address and they will stay connected, too.
